What’s included in your packages?
Each package includes planning support (location + timing suggestions), a relaxed session with gentle guidance, and a private online gallery of professionally edited images. You’ll be able to download your photos in high resolution and share them easily with family and friends. (Full details vary by package.)
How do I book a session?]
To book, simply send me a message through my contact form with your session type (maternity, family, engagement, etc.) and a couple of preferred dates. I’ll reply with availability and we’ll choose the best location-Vancouver / North Vancouver / West Vancouver, at home, outdoors, or in-studio—based on the vibe you want.Once you’re ready, I’ll send a quick contract and an invoice for a retainer to secure your date. After that, you’ll receive a short prep guide—including what to wear and simple styling tips—so you can feel relaxed and confident going into your session.
When should I book?
The sooner, the better—especially for peak weekends and golden-hour sessions.
Maternity: typically best around 28–34 weeks
Family / Engagement: ideally 4–8 weeks ahead (more for peak seasons)
Where do sessions take place?
Most sessions take place in Vancouver, North Vancouver, and West Vancouver—either outdoors in beautiful natural light or in the comfort of your home. Studio sessions are also available, depending on the look you’re going for. If you’re not sure what to choose, I’ll help you pick the best option based on your style, the season, and what feels easiest for you.
What should we wear?
After booking, I’ll send a simple style guide with outfit ideas. In general, soft neutral tones, simple patterns, and comfy layers photograph best. If you’d like, you can also send me a quick photo of your options—I’m happy to help you choose.
We’re not great at posing—can you help?
Absolutely—and you’re not alone! My style is very candid and natural, so you don’t need to worry about “posing perfectly.” I’ll give gentle prompts and simple direction, but most of the time I’m capturing the real in-between moments—natural smiles, laughter, and the way you connect when you’re just being yourselves.
How long is the session?
Session length depends on the package you choose. As a general guide, my basic family sessions
are about 45–60 minutes—just enough time to warm up, chat, and capture a variety of candid moments without feeling rushed.
Other sessions may be shorter or longer depending on the package, and I’ll always confirm the expected time when you book. I also keep things flexible for little breaks when needed, especially with kids.
When will we receive our photos?
You’ll receive your online gallery within 2 weeks for most sessions. During peak seasons, turnaround may take a little longer—I'll always confirm the estimated delivery time at booking and keep you updated along the way.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
That’s completely normal—and it happens more often than you think. I’m very used to working with little ones (I have over a decade of experience as an Early Childhood Educator), and I keep sessions relaxed, playful, and pressure-free. We’ll follow your child’s pace, take quick breaks if needed, and focus on connection rather than “perfect poses.” Some of the most beautiful photos come from those real, in-between moments.
Can we bring our pet?
Yes—pets are very welcome for outdoor sessions! If you’d like to include your furry family member, let me know when you book and I can suggest pet-friendly locations that work well for photos. I’ll also share a few simple tips to help your pet feel comfortable (and keep the session smooth and fun).
