Hi, I am Ayako.


I’m so happy you’re here. I specialize in maternity and family photography, and I also photograph engagement moments with soft, natural light and a relaxed, chatty approach. I’ll gently guide you when you need it, so you can be yourselves while I capture what’s real—those sweet in-between moments, genuine smiles, and happy tears.


Before photography, I spent over a decade as an Early Childhood Educator in Vancouver. That experience taught me how to connect with children and families from many backgrounds, and it’s still at the heart of how I work today. I fell in love with photographing everyday moments in preschool—and realized this was where my passion, creativity, and love for people all came together.


At the heart of my work are three things: connection, trust, and the experience. I want you to feel comfortable, cared for, and truly seen—so the photos reflect what’s real, not what’s forced.
